The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is a ~2,660 mile long trail stretching from Mexico  to Canada meandering through the Sierra Nevada and Cascade Ranges. I plan on thru-hiking the PCT in the 2014 season; an endeavor that will take roughly 150 days. Outside my comfort zone, and a personally daunting undertaking to say the least, I want to do something special before life takes hold, career, fame, fortune, misfortune, mortgage, or whatever it be... I'm young, with minimal obligations, who knows if I'll ever get the chance to do something like this again.

I will be trying my best to record my journey here for family, friends, and my own recollection.
